With the help of the Millennium Fellowship I can convey my idea with others from all across the world and gain their views and I will be able to make a road map for myself towards my goal. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Women and their Legal Rights

The Women and Their Legal Rights is an independent project lead by the Millenium Fellows Ayesha Munir and Yamema Shahba Sohail. The project will focus on teaching women their legal rights, specially their rights relating to marriage, inheritance and water. The aim is to teach women their rights and empower utilize them for their benefit.

About the Millennium Fellow

Yamema Shahbaz Sohail is a young, strong and determined law student at Fatima Jinnah Women University. She was born in Pakistan and is currently studying there as well. She has aspired to be a lawyer from a young age. She has always been passionate about social issues. She wants to be a lawyer to raise a voice for the weak in her community and to take steps in eradicating the social crisis.
