Having born and raised in rural areas, there are alot of challenges facing peoples in the area, hence my determination to come up with a project called SAWE 4 ALL (Safe water and environment for all). This is to give Fellow colleagues in rural areas, a proper orientation on personal and environmental health, water purification and water borne diseases" Let's all be safe and have sound health. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: SAWE4ALL

The project is called SAWE 4 ALL, an implementation of the SDG 16. Aim to enlighten
people on the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene
especially for our water bodies to ensure good health and mitigate the mortality rate
due to water borne diseases. The primary target audience is the vulnerable members
of the community who do not have access to clean water and are not properly
enlightened on environmental and health sanitation

About the Millennium Fellow

Bashir Abdulhayat is a medical student at federal University Dutse Jigawa Nigeria. He has writing skills, html web design and blogging.

He is interested in community service and human resource development. He is the founder of Rural life support foundation and green project.
