Millennium Fellowship Project: SAWE4ALL
The project is called SAWE 4 ALL, an implementation of the SDG 16. Aim to enlighten
people on the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene
especially for our water bodies to ensure good health and mitigate the mortality rate
due to water borne diseases. The primary target audience is the vulnerable members
of the community who do not have access to clean water and are not properly
enlightened on environmental and health sanitation
About the Millennium Fellow
Bashiru Auwal is a young, smart and brilliant medical student at Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State Nigeria. He was born in the northeastern part of the state which is faced with insecurity and high poverty rates. He has passion for medicine and making the world a better place for the less privileged. Since he was a Secondary school student, he was involved in various community services in his locality. This followed him upto his undergraduate level where he's involved in various student's associations, for example he is currently the public related officer of Adamawa state medical students associations where he organises various medical outreaches to different local communities. He's also dedicated to advance all the 17 sustainable development goals within his capability.
