United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" Due to my concern and love for the nature (environment) makes me to start this
project.
Being one of the participants of Millennium Fellowship will increase my connections
and provide me the opportunity to meet with different people and share ideas. The
skills I will gain in Millennium Fellowship will help me in widening my research and
making new ideas that can help me in solving sustainable development goals. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: SAWE4ALL

The project is called SAWE 4 ALL, an implementation of the SDG 16. Aim to enlighten
people on the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene
especially for our water bodies to ensure good health and mitigate the mortality rate
due to water borne diseases. The primary target audience is the vulnerable members
of the community who do not have access to clean water and are not properly
enlightened on environmental and health sanitation

About the Millennium Fellow

Khalid Musa was a gentle and very intelligent student that want to mark his
achievements in bigger communities not just his own. He was born in Nigeria and lives
in Bauchi state of Nigeria. He is an Environmental Management and Toxicology
Student studying at
Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State of Nigeria. Khalid love solving environmental
problems and turning them into opportunities and ideas. Due to his love to nature he
committed himself in making sustainable environment so that life on land will become
easy.
Khalid was trying to
evolve his ideas for bigger problems that will solve some of the challenges and goals
of sustainable development.
