United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" Care and concerned coupled with necessity and zeal for change with the current situation with regards to child abuse and illiteracy. With the Millennium Fellowship and exposure to the training and guidance which would enhance different ways of achieving the objectives of my project which is in line with the UN SDGs been part of this alone is a milestone achievement and a stepping stone into the international arena. So I'm very much excited. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: SAWE4ALL

The project is called SAWE 4 ALL, an implementation of the SDG 16. Aim to enlighten
people on the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene
especially for our water bodies to ensure good health and mitigate the mortality rate
due to water borne diseases. The primary target audience is the vulnerable members
of the community who do not have access to clean water and are not properly
enlightened on environmental and health sanitation

About the Millennium Fellow

Mohammed Aminu Bello is a young, active and vibrant Nigerian student who is born in FCT Abuja Nigeria. Eldest of 3 children. An undergraduate student of Criminology and security studies at federal university dutse, Jigawa state, Nigeria. Even as an undergraduate student he has been advocating for the return of young children back to school and other significant support through the Foundation against children abuse (FACA) which is in line with the UN sustainable development goals. And hope to be a channel or network through which the UN sustainable development goals and other international aid can reach as much people with such pressing necessity as possible.
