Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Mercury: Financial Literacy
Project Mercury is aimed towards financial literacy. This is based on four pillars: income generation, investing, budgeting and income management. This project sought to educate people on all four pillars and was extended to teach the young ones the importance of saving and how to budget. The segment for youth was carried out entirely online. Several income generation skills were imparted and other pillars successfully delivered.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sadiq favour Deborah is a young, intelligent, focused and vibrant nursing student at the federal University of Lafia nassarawa state Nigeria. She was born in Ondo state and also resides in Ondo state ,currently studying in nassarawa state Nigeria making her a true citizen of Nigeria.
Ever since favour was still very young, she has gotten an outspoken vibrant side which couldn't be helped but noticed among her peers and making her passionate about issues of life such as gender inequalities, child abuse and all.
This zeal and passion for humanity has endeared her to so many human rights organizations which are always working in partnership with her to achieve a common goal of fighting for women and the less privileged of which she's not planning to back down soon as she's always wished continue to lend her voice out in anything concerning humanity now and in future.
Favour aspires to be in her professional field where she can contribute her own voice to the United nations sustainable development goals.
