" Reaching out to young girls in my community who think they have nothing to offer, team work and putting hands together to archive a common goal, I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I know the skills that will be gained from here will help me go a long way in making social impact in my community, and I am also soo happy to learn new ways of learning and creativity "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Girl Power: Catch Them Young

Encouraging young girls learn a skill so they don't go into prostitution.
The idea of girls going into prostitution and being dependent on men to earn money for their needs is a major problem in the world right now, young girls who still have sharp minds to make themselves useful go into harmful ways of getting money such as prostitution and they become so addicted and dependent on that.
I want to use to this project to encourage young girls out there, to encourage them learn a skill to build them up and make them prepare for their future, there are lots of skills around them which can be very cheep and handy to start something, something that'll bring food to the table for them. Most people don't know much about recycling, which I feel is a great way to start something, there's garbage everywhere around, and these could be recycled and can be made into beautiful piece which could be sold to earn, earn lord and lord of money. I'll use to project to encourage young girls and let them understand that there's more to using our initiative to make money than doing it the other way round.
