United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" Making my community a better place by raising going armies of change agents is the reason I do what I do.
The skills I will gain from the Millennium Fellowship will make my social impact on the
next generation of leaders (school kids) more aligned with the SDGS and the UNAI
principles. It will also equip me with the resources and learning processes needed to
drive my social work further, reaching more people, more communities and creating a
chain of change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Lab404

Lab404 is a social enterprise that seeks to provide youths and children in rural communities and schools access to 21st century technical (Software Engineering, Game development) through gaming and other interactive learning events while also exposing them to the leadership and global citizen education needed to thrive as responsible citizens and active contributors in their communities and on a global scale.

About the Millennium Fellow

William Anaza is a 3RD Year Computer Science student of the Federal University Oye
Ekiti, Nigeria. He is a curious Tech. and web 3.0 enthusiastsm, a Frontend Web.
Developer, an active and passionate citizen and a creative learner, one who is always
seeking ways to improve himself and impact his community.
His interest in Tech and community development and empowerment started in senior
high school when he had to take a computer networking examination and help more
student understanding the concept of networking.
William has always been a passionate advocate for the Sustainable Development
Goals particularly Gender Equality, Quality Education, Decent Work & Economic
Growth and Climate Action.
This drive is the motive behind his community for teaching Tech, how to become an
active citizen and Climate actions to school kids in Nigeria.
He aspires to become a world-class software engineer, a filed that will enable him
solve many complex problems and make the world a better, cleaner and safer place to
live in.
