Federal University of Technology Akure | Akure, Nigeria | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 5

" I am very passionate about seeing young people become better versions of themselves, excel and actualize their dreams irrespective of their backgrounds. This is possible if they have access to quality education, right information, motivation and right mentorship.
I believe if people are informed they can not be deformed, and if they are not deformed, they can perform. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will enhance my passion and leadership skills, consequently leading to a greater result in my social impact work. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Absolute Impact Education
Absolute Impact Education (AIE) is a project that works towards bridging the gap between high school students that are privileged to have access to quality education and information and those that don't.
Having almost given up on my dreams due to poor quality education, information and mentorship, and seeing how some of my peers gave up on their dreams, I became inspired to ensure that high school students in my neighborhood and as many that I can reach irrespective of their background and circumstances beyond their control pursue their dreams and make them realities.
My project targets young people in high schools and those seeking admission into higher institutions. We teach them, mentor them, provide free career counseling, free tutorials, prepare them for national examinations and university entrance examinations. AIE also provide education and scholarship updates to students; AIE coaches students to be great leaders, improve on their public speaking skills, sensitize them about the SDG's, engage students in activities that will build them and give them competitive advantage amongst others.
The project is both online and offline as we use any opportunity we have to inspire young ones that with diligence and perseverance, their dreams can become realities.
