About the Millennium Fellow
Bakary konateh, an outstanding student leader,one who holds the strongest conviction that this world could only be great and a dwelling for all only when we all achieve the most dignified life we all deserve if and only if, others would sacrifice their time, energy and greatness more important, use their superpowers to influence decisions around the world that would create the necessary peace and development we all sought to achieve by 2030.
He is a student of the University of The Gambia, born in Sinchu Baliya Village West Coast Region of Brikama,The Gambia.
He has always been that individual who is ready to lead, take responsibilities and produce meaningful results even during the most challenging times. This great quality of Bakary has made him outstanding a leader and ready to serve humanity at all times.
In times when the world needs the participation of all to serve and promote the SDGs,he is stood firm to take the mantle of leadership because for him, this is what gives him a peace of mind thus, his passion.
He therefore hesitates not to join the Millennium Fellowship Class of 2022 at his university, University of The Gambia, Brikama Campus to learn,train and create the needed social impact on lives and influence inform decisions around his community and the world at large.
Bakary is thrilled to have been selected as a Fellow in this year's Millennium Fellowship Class hence, he is more than commited to learn, serve,share and produce results that would impact at least 7000 students in his university after the Millennium Fellowship guidance and leadership training.
