United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Ultimate Mentorship Association (TUMA)

The project is a mentorship program of about 75 Students from Senior Schools, college and university. It focuses on the path to nurture ethical leadership and build leadership skills that could be used in solving societal issues.

Additionally, the project includes engagement in community service as well.

About the Millennium Fellow

Siman Lowe is a passionate, result-driven, and impactful youth leader who has risen from the odds of societal consistent pressure to the limelight of youth leadership, change, and advocacy in ethical leadership, good governance, social justice, and peace. He has over the years served in numerous student leadership capacities while pursuing his Bsc. in Political Science at the University of the Gambia; he is currently the serving Information and Communications Minister of the University of The Gambia Students' Union. He has served as a moderator on several occasions at the university.

Siman has been a teacher for more than four years. In his teaching career, he has mentored and trained more than 200 students in leadership, public speaking, debate, and poetry. His passion and dexterity in public speaking, writing, and impactful leadership have earned him recognition and given him leverage and influence in the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals. Siman is a leader par excellence whose sole desire is to create a desired change for the next generation, fight against corruption, and promote world peace and security, tolerance, and diversity. He wants to pursue an MSc. degree in International Relations after his graduation.
