Millennium Fellowship Project: Medical Brigades Chapter

The project is centered on bringing medical equity to underrepresented medical areas specifically in west africa and south america. This will be accomplised through the creation of a chapter made up of students who will raise money to sponsor a mission to one of these underserved countries. This will also be done in conjuction with and organization called Global Brigades.

About the Millennium Fellow

Pratul Amineni is a second-year biomedical engineering student at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, USA. He is interested in the intersection between technology and medicine and hopes to create novel solutions to diseases through the use of new technologies. As an avid traveler, he has had the opportunity to experience many different cultures and observe the way different people live. Through his project, he hopes to help underserved communities in third world countries to reduce medical inequalities. After he graduates, Pratul plans to attend medical school.
