" "We all have a right to know, and if the government has been suppressing information about other life forms, that's the cruelest hoax of all". I choose to do this because I hope to take advantage of the reputation of this programme to let more people know about some social justice issues around the world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Delegates Daily
We are a non-profit, student-led team of HKU students who develop a bilingual (English and Cantonese) website to promulgate accurate news and information of important foreign affairs that do not reach the local Hong Kong population very easily due to geographical distance and language barriers.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hung Ka Chung is currently a year 2 student majoring in Global Health and Development in the University of Hong Kong. He is passionate about social justice. He believe that inequality is not just a local issue, but also a global topic. It might be impossible to achieve absolute equality due to differences in personalities or gifted talents. However, he thinks that we all have a unshirkable responsibility to contribute something to alleviate the situation. As global citizens, our ultimate goal is to allow all people to have equal resources and adequate treatment for their living. We still have a long journey to go.
