About the Millennium Fellow

Tamirat Teklu Kifle is a courageous, determined and globally competitive Pharmacy student at Hawassa University. He was born and resides in Addis Ababa and currently studying in Hawassa, Ethiopia. Tamirat is well known for his good leadership, academic excellence and admirable social interactions. He is the founder of MEFTEHE initiative. He has served as a training, project and proposal manager at Ethiopian Health Professionals Students Association where he is now serving as a President. He is a vice president at Ethiopian Pharmacy Student association Hawassa. He has also been serving his class as students’ representative; which through his outstanding leadership, he plans to continue in the future. Tamirat is aspires to be in a professional field where he can cultivate these advocacies further, and provide his own contribution in the development of the United Nation’s Sustainable Goals.
