" My love for humanity is the driving force. Being part of Millennium Fellowship will enable me to successfully contribute my own quota to the society. It will be a good ground for me to participate in activities that can improve the life and well being of people. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Inform Our Communities

Project Inform Our Communities is a group project organized by 2022 Millennium Fellows of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. This is a project that addresses the ignorance on healthy living amongst several people in the communities around us.

It has been observed that this ignorance has cost several people their lives and has increased the death rate amongst them. We aim to educate these people on the right ways of healthy living and encourage them to conform to life-preserving activities.

During the Millennium Fellowship period (August – December 2022), Project Inform Our Communities (I.O.C.) will host a minimum of 3 outreaches to these communities.

These outreaches will include general health talks, mental health talks, roundtable discussions, and open mics.

We, the team of Project Inform Our Communities– are aiming to reach about 1,000 people for this event and we believe this project will soon advance globally.
