Millennium Fellowship Project: Pad-Up A Girl
PAD- UP A GIRL is an outreach celebrated in commemoration of the International Girl Child Day which is celebrated on the 11th of October.
The purpose of this outreach is to reach out to secondary school girls, educate and enlighten them around menstrual health, and how to properly take care of themselves during their menstrual periods. Plus, we introduced the girls to reusable pads and how to use and care for it.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ekundayo Faith Oluwafeyijimi is a young, ambitious and intelligent Nigerian student. She was born in Kano State, Nigeria, resides in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, and is currently studying Sociology at the University of Ibadan.
For as long as she could remember Feyijimi has always been passionate about lending a hand in any way she can especially when it involves a project that reaches out to enlighten people on social and personal issues like health, hygiene. relationships, etc
In her present university journey, she has successfully being a part of various faculty projects, which has ignited her team spirit. Feyijimi aspires to be in a professional field where she can impact change as an individual and also as a team.
