" As an Educator, I have been taught child psychology, developmental milestones, special education and a level of counseling and love to nurture and grow things. I have empty for I have seen, experienced, and can understand or relate with others around me.

I believe being a part of Millennium Fellowship would groom me further, and expose me to a whole new world of social impact, where I learn and probably contribute to an impactful 2022 project that would affect the globe positively in the long run in whatever little way it can.

I would also have a platform to network, learn, and, increase my future plans and possibility to someday open a conducive foster home, a very big one at that, to take in homeless children, orphans, special children and children who have a parent(s) that cannot afford to give them basic amenities and quality education, and set up provisions and opportunities these children can harness to hone their skills and have a chance at an independent life when they are old enough.

Being a Millennium Fellow would further my exposure and experience in philanthropy and social impact projects.
Thank you. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Inform Our Communities

Project Inform Our Communities is a group project organized by 2022 Millennium Fellows of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. This is a project that addresses the ignorance on healthy living amongst several people in the communities around us.

It has been observed that this ignorance has cost several people their lives and has increased the death rate amongst them. We aim to educate these people on the right ways of healthy living and encourage them to conform to life-preserving activities.

During the Millennium Fellowship period (August – December 2022), Project Inform Our Communities (I.O.C.) will host a minimum of 3 outreaches to these communities.

These outreaches will include general health talks, mental health talks, roundtable discussions, and open mics.

We, the team of Project Inform Our Communities– are aiming to reach about 1,000 people for this event and we believe this project will soon advance globally.
