About the Millennium Fellow

Adeleke Michael Olamide is an exciting, young prospect and a Wood and Biomaterials Engineering student at the Faculty of Technology, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He was also born in Ibadan, Nigeria where he lived most of his childhood and currently his adulthood. From a very young age, Michael began to develop interest in social and political issues that affects the demography of wherever he finds himself. He began to participate and volunteer in movements to bring positive change in his surroundings. Throughout his time in high school and now in college, he has successfully participated and co-organized various drives and movements which has led to him winning several awards within and outside the community. Michael thrives on the successes of these projects and give his the zeal to keep pushing on. He aspires to be a professional field where he can cultivate these projects further and provide his own contribution in the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals
