Millennium Fellowship Project: Human Rights Enlightenment

Project Name: Human Rights Enlightenment

Introduction: Project Human Rights Enlightenment is a group project organized by 2022 Millennium Fellows of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. This is a project that aims to inform the public about their fundamental human rights to ensure that every individual can live a life of dignity and a life that is worthy of a human being. During the Millennium Fellowship period (August - December 2022), Project Human Rights Enlightenment (H.R.E.) will host a minimum of 2 webinars to educate the public on fundamental human rights such as gender equality and voting rights. We are aiming to reach about 1,000 people in this project and we are quite confident we will achieve our goals.

SDG 5, SDG 10, and SDG 16.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sodeeq Dolapo a student of Economics at Unibadan, Nigeria. Sodeeq his passionate about bridging the gap of inequality and fair as he is an advocate of social justice, and he born and in Nigeria.
Sodeeq has participated in various programs and training of different types. Which has prepared him to still against any form of oppression.
With his outstanding leadership skills, he couninue to train people about ways to maintain peace among themselves. He venture into educating people about Information and Media literacy which will aid their knowledge on how to identify fact from fake news which in a long-term translate into active citizenship. This he belived is a way of contributing to the development of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs)
