Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Lush
We aim at reducing adverse climatic impacts through different activities like afforestation (planting trees), cleaning of water bodies, awareness classes for students at the school level and different activities along with NGOs (non-governmental organisations).
we intend to plant around 500 or more saplings at different locations. awareness programmes along with NGOs in promoting nature conservation, awareness of climatic instability, its adverse scenarios and the need for conservation activities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Althaf Saneen is a young, smart and passionate science student at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Tirupati. Saneen was born in southern India in the state of Kerala. From the schooling days itself Saneen was motivated in social welfare activities and believed in conservation and humanity. Saneen has been involved in several social activities under Bharat scouts and guides and was awarded Rashtrapati award during his school days. Saneen is highly ambitious and passionate in scientific research and social welfare activities , he believes scientific approach and social awareness are the keys for better future. Saneen aspires to be in the field of scientific research and social activities to inspire and contribute globally.
