Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Tirupati | Tirupati, India | Advancing SDG 11 & UNAI 9
" The Millennium Fellowship provides a network of determined, persevering and passionate global leaders whose collective efforts are a key tool in creating a sustainable and equitable world. I am delighted to be a part of this Fellowship as it will provide me a platform to create a positive impact in my society by upholding the principles of UNAI and SDGs. It will also enable me to be an active part of the global network of change makers who are working towards sustainability, environmental conservation and climate change resilience.
In future, I aspire to continue with my project and take it to a much larger scale where we can effectively plan to use solar energy to pump water or develop smart management systems to use water efficiently. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Sus10ance
The project aims at generating awareness among communities about concerning social issues like climate change, pollution control, food security and foster sustainable living. We also plan to conduct interactive sessions and awareness drives about energy conservation asking people to embrace the usage of the alternate sources of energy. Another part of the project includes promoting a circular economy as an effective means towards waste management which would lower the rate of carbon emissions in the environment.
