Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Lush
We are planning to work on climate control
methods, focusing on ways to reduce the adversity of present-day weather
climactics and pollution. In collaboration with NGOs and selected local schools, we
encourage the planting of saplings, cleaning of water bodies, student uplift. Involving
students in various activities such as placard making, slogan competitions
We are planning to plant 500 saplings or so at selected locations.
About the Millennium Fellow
Vishnu Ramadas is a young, hardworking, and talented student at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Tirupati. Vishnu lives in Kerala, a state in South India. During schooling days, Vishnu was actively involved in various social awareness and welfare programs. He is now very much involved in the activities of NSS, a nationwide volunteering program in India. Vishnu is very passionate towards researching the various ways in which science can be used towards social empowerment and conservation of the world around us. Vishnu believes that science is the key to spreading awareness about preserving nature and the need for humanity to act on it. Vishnu aspires to contribute to the betterment of our world as much as he can and is driven to make his contributions have a global impact.
