" Humans can indeed touch the lives of others. Millennium Fellowship opens up a wide door of opportunity and possibility to collectively impact the world around with the tools of creativity and social action. I am excited about how the local impacts of millions of Millennium Fellows spread across the globe will cumulatively put humanity miles ahead in achieving the SDGs. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Jal Neethi

Jal Neethi is a project aimed at raising awareness about simple and safe WASH (Water Access, Sanitation and Hygiene) practices and inducing desirable behavioural changes among the population. Our objective is to produce bite-sized video content in Indian vernacular languages on safe WASH practices and make them available to the general population through open-access platforms such as Youtube and Instagram. We also aim to engage with governmental organisations and NGOs for greater reach and more meaningful engagement with the target population.
Our objective is to produce about 30+ videos in 3 Indian languages (Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam) by the end of the term and impact over 10000+ people. We also intend to make our content free to use by any organisation/individual for educational purposes.
