Millennium Fellowship Project: VIBE
VIBE- a positive psychology campaign that promotes and educates students on the importance of mental health and positive psychology.
We aim to:
>> Create awareness on common mental health issues and promote better understanding of them. “Knowledge Empowers” and we want to empower people to understand what they go through so that they are better equipped to seek help and at the same time for everyone to understand mental health issues and empathize better.
>> Spread knowledge on different techniques and good habits to combat stress, anxiety and improve one’s own mental health and wellbeing. Breaking barriers of limiting beliefs, Inculcating feel good habits to infuse positivity into life.
>> Establishing a platform for open dialogue about mental health and breaking the stigma that is associated with it. Additionally, enabling people to share their experiences in a safe space.
Target Audience- Students (College students, High School students)
Age Group - College Students (19 - 25), School Students (11 - 18)
About the Millennium Fellow
Gayathri Shrushti V- is a senior at IIT Madras. She is a kindhearted and compassionate. Her innate curiosity led her to understanding holistic wellness to a deeper extent. She has been passionate about human psychology for a really long time. She is now looking forward to being able to empower more individuals with the required knowledge which can be very transformative for leading a better quality of life. Currently she is also avidly finding avenues to align her career with the same field.
