Millennium Fellowship Project: Good Health Good Mind

Good Health Good Mind (G.H.G.M.) is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow Aditi Rana. G.H.G.M. addresses the importance of good health and sound mind. With the help of students and faculty, the project aims to make people aware about the importance of a good well being. During the Millennium Fellowship period (August-December 2022), the project will arrange seminars and webinars at school and college level by collaborating with NGOs and health experts. I aspire to educate people on important issues related to health and mental miseries.

About the Millennium Fellow

Aditi Rana is a young, kind-hearted and bright literature student at Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University, India. She was born in Uttarakhand, resides in Delhi, and is currently pursuing English Honours from Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University, India. Aditi has always been passionate about maintaining good health and a sound mind. She has attended seminars on ‘importance of health’ in her school and from there she learnt about different ways to stay healthy. In this fast moving world, we forget to take care of our health. To some extent, people pay attention to their health but forget to take care of their minds hence leading to anxiety, stress, etc. In our society, being “mentally unhealthy” sounds like a taboo. Aditi wants to change this perspective and make people aware that this is normal dysfunction of the mind which can be cured and there is no shame in coming out with their problems and reaching out to psychologists. Aditi aspires to be in a professional field where she can work for the benefit of people and give her contribution in the development of the United Nations’ Sustainable Goals.
