" “You are never too small to make a difference.”- Greta Thunberg (Environmental Activist) . This particular quote by Greta Thunberg has sort of inspired me to dive into a world where I will be able to implement my knowledge systems. Being a Millennium Fellow would allow me to shape a society based on the ideals we hold dear. Something which excites me to be a part of the Millennium Fellowship program is because no matter where I come from, if my intentions are on the right track, I also have the opportunity to strike that chord. My project which signifies the importance of health shall also garner the courage in me to become a person who can empower others to speak up confidently about the issues they are going through at the moment. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Khairiyat

Our project aims to work on SDG 3: GoodHealth and Wellbeing. This project shall aim towards concretizing and informing the basic standards of a healthy life considering the physical, mental, emotional as well as spiritual dimensions of well-being. Further,
we intend to bring out the health issues which are tabooed and not given adequate attention yet, particularly the most common lifestyle disease among women-PCOD/PCOS. We shall also try to bring out the power discourse which goes about within the existing medical services as well as health policies in India and worldwide. With the world slowly beginning to move out from the deadlock imposed by the Covid19 pandemic, we shall try to highlight it's impact beyond a physical strain- i.e., look into its socio-cultural dynamics. Our basic aim shall be to inform the general public and
make attempts to enlarge the scope for humanitarian causes through this project. Last but not the least, we intend to continue with our service beyond the tenure of this fellowship.
