" Inclusiveness and Versatility drives me for aligning myself in various social development goals . By being a Millennium Fellow i will be able to develop skills working for the global community of building consensus, growing together to fulfill a vision that will belong to everyone not the leader only . This contentment of belongingness and creating change in the attitude through our project Parwaaz will provide us new heights in our social impact initiative and at the same time will teach me lessons of leadership, collective goal achievement and developing global networking. This will help me in future where I aspire to work for the country as a civil servant. I am really hoping that Millennium Fellowship will enhance my experience of social growth and community development . "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Parwaaz
Parwaaz as the name suggests is a community outreach program that provides professional mental health to the students at free of cost by building an effective network of practicing mental health professionals . Its aim is to destroy taboos around mental health and well-being and create an open space where students can speak freely and seek help without getting judged or labelled as abnormal people.

Himanshu Choudhary who is currently pursuing bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi is a student who believes in Creation, Communication and Compassion for the betterment of humanity. Being born into a family of farmers ,she developed keen interest in environmental issues and the vulnerabilities of the lives of the peasants . following the same ,she has got a Certificate of Achievement in the online course "Climate, community and Conservation" by the Centre of Earth Studies of her college. Right from her schooling she raised her voice against linguistic discrimination. She believes that language should not become the barrier,it should become the solution. And with the outbreak of COVID she aligned herself with the project Parwaaz so that the taboo about Mental Health could be eradicated amongst the peers and their families . She firmly believes that without good mental health the progress of the society is incomplete as our present and future can't be protected by sick beings .
