" Having spent my childhood in different forests across the world with my father, I have developed a deep respect and love for the forest, wildlife, and nature. With the deteriorating health of the environment, I am determined to make sure that the beauty of nature is passed on to generations to come. I am determined to make sure that the coming generations too, feel the love and calmness of the forests. I am determined to leave a healthier planet.
With Millennium Fellows all around the world, I am happy to find like-minded individuals with the same drive and passion. I look forward to learning from each other and making the world a better place to live in! "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project LIVING GREEN
Project LIVING GREEN is a project for the green warriors of the country who wish to make a change in the way we consume and practice all things sustainable. Project LIVING GREEN is going to be a safe space for all students to discuss and come up with various sustainable practices that we, as students can follow in our daily lives. Whenever a person decides to start living a sustainable life, the first issue is, “Where and How to start?” This is where Project LIVING GREEN is going to step up and help. Project LIVING GREEN will help form a community of people trying to live sustainable lives. An open forum for people to discuss their issues and help come up with new ideas to live a green lifestyle.
Over the months, Project LIVING GREEN can collaborate with different eco-positive companies and raise awareness about their products. Through collaborations like these, Project LIVING GREEN can generate an eco-repository that lists various environmental-friendly products and companies. A one-stop place for all things sustainable, making it easier for consumers to consume sustainably. A forum like this would also help make big lifestyle changes as a community. Taking up minimalism or thrifting to reduce the impacts of fast fashion will work more efficiently if there is a group helping each other out.
Along with this, Project LIVING GREEN will conduct various webinars and workshops on different ways to live a sustainable life. Organizing clean-up drives would also be a part of Project LIVING GREEN. Over the months, Project LIVING GREEN will develop a newsletter that discusses new ideas and experiences of the members of Project LIVING GREEN. Project LIVING GREEN is going to be a community of warriors trying to make the planet a healthier place to live in.
