" It would be a great opportunity for me to learn from the Millennium Fellowship. It will help me to evaluate my efforts and develop analytical skills. Interaction with professionals and webinars will surely enhance my communication cum professional skills plus get a chance to know from foreigners or professionals about other countries' education quality rendered to them . It will broaden my narrow thinking which will help me to bring innovative ideas to assist my project . From my perspective, proper guidance helps a lot in getting achievement/success, so the MCN will do. I'll try to grab the ideas from everywhere which helps me to work towards pursuing my passion at the peak. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Noor
Project noor is an Indraprastha College for women ( IPCW ) outreach programme.
Since independence, we have seen steady progress in primary and secondary education. But there are several stumbling blocks on the road to achieve the goal of universal education.
It's aims:-
The project aims to raise marginalized families above the Poverty Line by supporting the families for the short term and vitally by striving to make themselves sufficient in the long run through its comprehensive suite of programmes.
Over a period of 3-6 months, as well as providing families' basic needs such as food, grocery, health care and child education. The project provides adult family members with the skills to find well paying jobs in the market.
It's mission:-
The Noor Project's mission is to equip impoverished communities with the tools to escape poverty and become self-sustainable.
In Project Noor, the term Noor itself means 'light' or 'illumination'. And we believe if there is hope, there is light. If we aspire to see beauty, we need light. Just like this, if we want to bring changes into various lives, we require such projects and organisations to get success in their work.
