Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Parwaaz
Parwaaz is a community outreach programme that aims to raise mental health awareness in the community as well as to be a friend and source of comfort for those dealing with mental health issues. Parwaaz wants to create a community where people can grow and discuss their fears and problems without fear of being judged. For a long time, mental health has been a taboo subject; however, mental health is an equally important aspect of life, and humans cannot achieve eternal happiness unless they are in a good mental state. Parwaaz's mission is to spread joy and assist others.
About the Millennium Fellow
Poonam Kumari is a hardworking, idealist, and a passionate person. She is pursuing her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Resource Management from Indraprastha College for Women under University of Delhi. She's always been a person who has wanted to bring a change in the world. She firmly believes how important it is for everyone to be kind to each other and hopes to spread more and more awareness about mental health issues and encourage people to be vocal about it. Millennium Fellowship program will provide her the leadership skills and qualities that she requires to achieve what she's passionate about and she's really looking forward to it.
