" Asides an opportunity to make an impact in my immediate society in accordance to the UNAI principles and SDGs I'm excited, because being a Millennium Fellow will aid my selfdevelopment process by exposing me to various skills which I could harness greatly and apply to other problem-solving areas of life. I'm also excited to increase my competence and values by learning new things and gaining new experience in the course of my work as Fellow. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Go For Life

*'Go For Life, You Matter'*

Our mental health is one of the most crucial parts of our lives that must be protected. If it becomes affected, low self-esteem, peer pressure and negative mood swings are birthed, among other things.

Affected mental health can also lead to depression — which gives room for suicidal thoughts, that is, wanting to give up on living.

This is why our initiative urges people to take care of their mental health as well as offer support to those battling depression and harbouring suicidal thoughts.

We are saying to anyone out there who's hurting to ask for help. It is not a sign of weakness to ask for help. It is a sign of strength.

Suicide is never the remedy. Hence, we implore you to always remember that not so many get to choose to live. The life you have is priceless and valuable.

Therefore...Brace up, choose LIFE: Face the pain and keep the hope that you will OVERCOME.
