Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Empowerment and Business Academy

Youth Empowerment and Business Academy (YEBA) is a group project led by millennium fellow Favour Okeniyi. YEBA addresses economic and financial stability of young adults. The project aims to engage with both students and members of the community of Igbinedion University Okada through online business workshops and webinars that simultaneously foster the financial stability of youths and the economic growth of the community. During the millennium fellowship programme,YEBA project will host a minimum of three online webinars. These online webinars will be a mix of workshops, art of buying and selling and digital skills acquisition. We aim at reaching about 150 people combined across the webinars.

About the Millennium Fellow

Okeniyi Favour Kunmi, is a bright young and global Pharmacy student at Igbinedion University Okada. She was born in Oyo state Nigeria, currently studying in Edo state Nigeria. Favour is passionate about how young adults like herself can have an impact to the world through social and economic actions. This drive translated itself from Favour’s experiences in the international community and our continuous dedication to social economic growth. During her high school years she successfully organised a youth empowerment club and currently in her college years she has participated in various philanthropic and educational projects. Favour yearns to be in a professional field where she can push these social and economic growth further and provide her own contributions in the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
