Millennium Fellowship Project: Go For Life, You Matter

At some points in life, every individual tends to undergo challenges which includes and not limited to financial instability, family issues or even as far as poor academic performance. Nigeria as a case study, little importance is given to the good state of mental health as everybody believes they are unaffected by happenings around them. One of the top emotional trauma people go through almost every day is depression and it is very important to know that the peak of depression is suicidal ideation. Little attention is still given to this issue by people most especially the students, teenagers and young adult. Life is full of ups and downs and just like regular checkup of the physical health wellbeing is a necessity, the importance of good state of mental wellbeing cannot be underrated.
This project aims to enlighten senior secondary students around Okada in Edo state and its environs on the importance of proper check and maintenance of sane health.

About the Millennium Fellow

Oluborode John Oluwole is a bachelor of pharmacy student in view at Igbinedion University Okada, in Nigeria.
Oluborode John is a global public health enthusiast. He has always been passionate about making people health related activities in hope of making his community a better place.
He has served IPSF in his institution where he played active roles in promoting public health activities and campaigns.
John believes in continuous professional development and he aspires to provide his own contribution in the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
