Millennium Fellowship Project: Beyond Plastic

- Picking up garbage from beach and it will Be given for recycling purposes.
- research on some topic
- sustainable practices at college level such as combining leftover pages, rinsing the handwash bottle with water in order to save liquid, making use of half used or unused stationary items, and waste management like using different dustbins.
- Planting more trees and protecting forests. also ensuring Regular watering of plants.
- Promoting sustainable development practices on social media platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram and Instagram and keeping people in loop. Articles and Newsletters can Be circulated about sustainable development practices Promoting the products, etc.
- Promoting veganism to preserve the fauna and how to make vegan products at home to make it economically sustainable. Consumption of too much non veg food might endanger the animals. Most of the non veg food is processed and If people shift towards veganism the industrial waste will get reduced.

About the Millennium Fellow

Aman Nebhani is a final year Literature student at Jai Hind College, Mumbai. He is an introvert yet very approachable person. He loves everything to be pre-planned and organized. He is passionate about crushing toxic patriarchy and misogyny, serving the community by going on drives and educating, and keeping his surroundings clean. Due to which he applied for the Millennium Fellowship as it would help him go beyond the current horizons and achieve his goal.
