Millennium Fellowship Project: Beyond Plastic
My team and I hope to make positive change to the bottom level through our effort. Following are some of the ojectives that we wish ro acheive
1. Make cleaning drives a priority. We'll organize basic cleanup drives, such as beach cleanups, and then we will also recycle the plastic.
2. Raising awareness about the harmful effects of plastic usage and pollution, and reducing pollution.
3. We will also provide seminars for students withing our college premises in order to inculcate accountability and positive behavior toward our surroundings.
4. We'll also go on a tree-planting drive and try to bring about more sustaibable practices in our campus
About the Millennium Fellow
Parshvi jain is diligent and a hardworking student at jai hind college. She was born and raised in India. She has been conscious about the environment since she was young. Her parents have played a great role in inculcating the value of environmental awareness. Parshvi is ecstatic to put her efforts toward a cause she supports. She is really looking forward to connect with other Fellows and understand the issues world over.
