" I’m excited to be a Millennium Fellow to develop projects that will have a long-lasting, positive impact in my community and work with my peers to make these projects a reality. Through collaborative action and experiential learning, the Millennium Fellowship will equip me with core values - empathy, humility, and inclusion - that will help me become an active global citizen and take my social impact to the next level. About the Millennium Fellow

Meghana Karthic is a sophomore at Johns Hopkins University studying Computer Science and Entrepreneurship. She strongly believes in using technology for social good to create a positive impact, improve people’s quality of life, and address the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Community service developed her interest in serving the greater good and has helped her cultivate a sense of purpose for what she wants to achieve as a technologist. She believes every line of code she writes has the ability to transform lives and create a society in which anyone has the potential to create meaningful change.
