Millennium Fellowship Project: Safequality Project
This project aims to reduce violence in the local community by indirectly helping the existing Safestreet program funded by Baltimore government. This program focuses on conflict mediation and violence prevention through local community volunteers and leaders.
About the Millennium Fellow
Renee Wu is a rising sophomore at Johns Hopkins University majoring in International Studies and Sociology. She is a little bit introverted but is very passionate about social issues and human rights especially children's and women's rights. She also wants to get to know deeply her community and her coworkers who share the same passion she has. She has a decent amount of experience working with and for non-governmental organizations in different areas of the world and she will continue this career in the future.
