Millennium Fellowship Project: Line Design Canister
The Line Design Canister is a container that collects monofilament found in recreational fishing areas. The project also has the aspect of educating the public about better fishing practices. The canister is easily obtainable, cost-effective, and productive toward the goal of a sustainable solution.
About the Millennium Fellow
Steven Simpson is an economics and film and media studies major at Johns Hopkins University, MD, USA. Steven is an expressive storyteller that has a strong background in marketing communications and computer science. He finds passion in using his skills to help others through spreading civic engagement. Growing up in the Boy Scouts, Steven developed a connection to the outdoors and social development. With his project, he is excited to be a change agent and a leader in his field of sustainability efforts.
