" Millennium Fellowship has provided a platform to interact with other young visionaries and leaders. I believe being able to collaborate and share ideas that will change our community goes a long way in the enhancement of both skill and character. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Harmony

Mental Harmony is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow, Lilian W. Kimani. Mental harmony aims at creating awareness about mental health issues. For the period between September and December, mental harmony will try to reach an audience of about 300 people, both children, and adults. This will be largely based on social media and partly on one on one discussions. The scope of the project ranges from thinking happy thoughts to mental health disorders. Mental Harmony's goal is to cultivate a culture of mental conditioning, whereby we look after our mental health just as naturally as we brush our teeth.

About the Millennium Fellow

I am a strong believer in the African philosophy, "Ubuntu" - I am because we are. When we unite in purpose great things happen.

I am passionate about children, I am looking to contribute to children's growth in diverse areas, especially in education and mental health.
In collaboration with this, I am an ambassador of mental health. I am looking to cultivate a culture of mental conditioning. To be able to take care of our mental health just as naturally as we brush our teeth.
