Millennium Fellowship Project: Aghni
This project is based on educating people regarding clean cooking stove. People in rural village of Nepal use fire wood as their main source of energy till date. They spend around 5 to 7 hr daily around chulo. The chulo used by them makes a lot of smoke which affects their health. The main aim of our project is to teach people about improvised cooking stove.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rodan bista is a young energetic individual who is motivated to bring change to society via his knowledge and action. He is an engineering student at Kathmandu University. As a mechanical engineering student, he has been working on clean and renewable energy projects. Through his project, he is hoping to provide knowledge and resources regarding Improved Cook Stove to people of the remote village of Nepal.
