About the Millennium Fellow
Smriti is a hardworking, young and globally competitive BBA student at Kathmandu University School of Management. She was born in a small village in Nuwakot and is currently living in Kathmandu, Nepal. As far as she remembers, she has always been advocating for social rights and justice, quality education, especially for women, women's rights, and women's empowerment. This feeling arose after witnessing the backward community in which she was one of the few fortunate enough to receive a proper education. Through her school life, she has successfully participated in and organized various social-cause programs, which she plans to continue in her future. Smriti wishes to build her career in which she may grow by applying her values, and contribute more to the advancement of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
