" The thought of uplifting the community with their creativity is what drives every person working in the field of engineering. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will help me enhance my skills and will give me a global insight on the issues at hand and make my contributions aligned with the sustainable development goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Aghni
This project is based on educating people regarding clean cooking stoves. People in
the rural village of Nepal use firewood as their main source of energy to date. They spend around 5 to 7 hr daily around chulo. The chulo used by them makes a lot of smoke which affects their health. The main aim of our project is to teach people about the improvised cooking stove.
