Millennium Fellowship Project: AKILI SAWA

Akili Sawa is a mental health project that helps the youth in universities and unemployed persons under age 30 to manage their mental health. More than 50 percent of the youth in Kenya are depressed due to various factors including lack of basic needs, and unemployment. The project seems to test user mental health using a web application (leveraging tech for the good of everyone, mentally). The diagnosis made by the app should then give recommendations to the users on how to mitigate their mental health issues.
