As one of the ways of making this world a better place i decided to do a project on keeping the environment clean and green. With the knowledge acquired from the Millennium Fellow . this will broaden and give me a wider view on how to make this happen. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Kenya
My project is advancing towards creating a new Kenya. It contributes to the attainment of the Kenya forest coverage goal of 10% forest cover with the Kenyan Boarders. We work as a team of 9 people. We have a tree nursury within Kisii University compound where we raise tree seedling. We plant tree seeds on a seed bed take care of them until they are matured enough to be transparented into a potting bag. After transplanting into a potting bag we water them regularly until they are ripe for planting. The matured seedling we plant them in local primary schools around Kisii town. Alongside tree nursery management we also collect plastic waste bottles to make them useful again by making serial gardening, decorations and footstools.

Omwenga Simeon Mangaro is a young intelligent determined person. He hails from kenya in Africa .
He is currently an undergraduate student on his final year persueing bachelors of education and human resource development ( education science) at Kisii University. He has
passion and determination towards building a better world.
