About the Millennium Fellow

Stephen Ochieng is a proactive young man who grew up in the semi urban lake region of Kenya. He passed primary school exams exceptionally to attend the so considered best boy school in the country-the Alliance High School. From primary school his leadership skills were evident and was chosen School President. In high school he rose through many positions to finally become a house captain. He always jumped on to leadership opportunities because he saw needs in the society that need addressing. And this has become evident in his proactive participation in many humanitarian efforts in his community.
