Millennium Fellowship Project: Sunny Smiles Initiative
Sunny smiles initiative is a project we are working on to improve awareness and improvement on menstrual hygiene. This project is reaching out to the young adults with information about menstruation and menstrual hygiene, distribution of sanitary towels and teaching them how to make re-usable sanitary towels. It focuses more on the rural and refugee areas
About the Millennium Fellow
Richard Buule is an ambitious, humanitarian and passionate about inclusive and community leadership. His a final year medical student who aspires to leave change wherever he passes. Richard believe in equality and social justice. As the world advances and changes from day to day, Richard believes that the privileged population should work hard not leave the less privileged behind simply because, we all live once and no one wants to be on the negative extreme but sometimes things happen. Richard believes that living and staying positive is something a person instills in him/herself and decides to work and walk by and with. The change we want is just next to us, we just need to open our minds and eyes.
