" With the Millennium Fellowship, I will be able to reach open-minded leaders whose ideas will enhance my worldview and increase my awareness. I will be able to discuss my ideas, promote them with constructive criticism and build a network with passionate leaders. Being a part of this community will provide me with skills for problem-solving, leadership, and an integrative approach to global problems. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Infant

I am planning to design a "healthy infant" booklet that all mothers and fathers from all backgrounds can understand when they read. This booklet will be separated according to the months of the infant (first 12 months of the baby) and will contain areas such as appropriate nutrition, vaccination, motor, social, cognitive development, sudden infant death syndrome prevention. This booklet will be distributed to primary health care centers and primary physicians first and it will be a guide to parents between their visits. With this booklet, parents will be able to follow their child's development, remember to visit their pediatrician, check the general health of their infant between visits, and provide adequate care for their baby. Secondly, this booklet can be adapted to a mobile application which will be accessible to parents all the time.
