It will help me to deal with real problems of society and the society itself which for a law student is a great asset. It will create an opportunity for me to work with a large group of people which will unfold new ways of learning to help me to develop good skills of adaptability, creativity, and problem-solving. It will make my social impact more tangible, increase my anticipatory competence, and help develop good public relations. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Legal Sahara

This project is a online platform where people can get legal help. It is a website based portal where law students, lawyers and advocates join hands voluntarily to provide legal assistance to those in need. It will comprise of legal awareness section where law students will be providing articles that will help people out to find the legal process to their legal problems. It will also comprise of legal advice section where lawyers will be contributing to provide legal solutions to the legal problems of people through the website. Along with it advocates will provide legal aid voluntarily to those in need.

About the Millennium Fellow

Renisha Ghimire is a young social welfare enthusiast and an undergrad student at Kathmandu School of Law. She is currently residing in Kathmandu, Nepal. Renisha was always been passionate about her advocacies for sustainable development, social justice, youth empowerment, and women empowerment. This drive encouraged her to gain experiences in the local, national and international communities and continuously dedicate herself to social action. For 5 years, she has been successfully organizing and volunteering for social justice and development movements. With her outstanding leadership and confidence, Renisha aspires to be a professional in her field where she can cultivate these advocacies further.
