Millennium Fellowship Project: Friends of the Kaw
There is a large river in Kansas literally named The Kansas River. The goal is to work on protecting the river from dangers such as pollution, dredging, and littering. This is important because the river is a major drinking water supply and so people and the surrounding environment stands to benefit greatly from this project.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ian Reddy is a college student attending the University of Kansas. He is a calm and relaxed person who doesn't get fazed by much and is able to keep his cool in almost any situation. He doesn't seek out the spotlight but always seems to show up when called upon. He is studying biology, exercise science, and business, with the hope of attending medical school in the future. He engages his creative side by making music and youtube videos to diversify his skillset. He is easy going and works well in groups and always tries to keep other people's feelings and opinions in mind. He loves both watching and playing sports, and enjoys the outdoors.
