" No man can change the world. We bring change by working together and each doing our part. I believe that through the Millennium Fellowship , I'll gain so much skill and expertise on how I can do my part better, get motivated by the work other youths around the world are doing. It will ensure that my future projects have so much more impact and are successful. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Help the Needy Students Campaign
The purpose of the project was to establish an organization on campus that will help students who are struggling to buy meals or basic necessities such as soap and lotion. We raise money for these students and help them. Also provide skill-building sessions, a safe space to talk about the situation, and how we can work together in order to bring an end to the same. This started when we discovered there was a large number of students that we really struggling with, this affected their health and academic performance. This project was by me and my roommate, it helped over 20 students in a semester. Other universities are now aiming to take our projects into their schools so that it may help them as well.
